Robert Saari


Living near Cincinnati, Ohio, Robert Saari holds the Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Miami and the Master of Music degree in composition from Ohio State University. His compositions include vocal and instrumental works of both sacred and secular genres. A member of the Society of Pi Kappa Lambda, he has studied with Alfred Reed, Frederick Fennell and Marshall Barnes, and is a founding member of the Central Ohio Composers' Alliance. Mr. Saari is a Vietnam-era veteran and served as pianist, arranger and trumpeter for the 2nd Armored Division Band of the US Army.
